Weldng Rod holders

Well i know i didnt weld them but it was something i needed at work. If  need welding rod at work we are required to check it out of a lttle cage but they wont give you any if you didnt have a holder. since they were not going to give you any holders i finally went out to the hardware store and made some. 2" PVC with caps. one is made to be able to connect with another so that if i need some long tig rod i will have a container to put it in to also. just thought  would share. Reply:Hey wd40prerunner,  I was taught to keep the rods in an airtight container until I used them to avoid contamination and oxidation.
