cheater  lenses help some but if you have astigmatism like i do ,you cant see all that good if you remove your glasses and rely on the cheater alone. and trying to hold your head at the right angle to use bi-focals or progressives with the hood on is a pain. so what i did was order a set of single-vision computer glasses online. these also are very useful while working on cars. looking thru the top of bi-focals or progressives kinda sucks. there are a number of online sources,i use   http://www.zennioptical.com  . what you do for computer glasses is use your regular prescription with the reader add cut in half. and combined with the cyl. correction these single-vision computer glasses can be had for about $50.00 ..miller thunderbolt 250vlincoln square wave tig 175 prolincoln idealarc mig sp250everlast tig 210EXTeverlast power plasma 50chicago electric (hf) 130 tig/90 arcchicago electric 90 amp flux wire3 sets oxy/acet
Reply:I read about a guy that had a pair built up side down. Claimed working on cars much easier doing wiring under the dash or under the car work.I agree that glasses are a big PIA.
