I owe a few folks for some favors they have done for me this past year, all are wineo's, so I figured they would appreciate these.  With a little help from King Metals for the leaf stampings, scrolls, and bunch of grapes we have a "Vine Rack."  Each holds a case of your favorite for a total of 96 bottles. Not my original idea, the credit goes to a MS. Kimberli Matin in her book Ready, Set, Weld!  This book has some eclectic projects and this one caught my eye.  These go to the powder coater this week for a nice black coat then it is into service. Hardest part was welding the 3/8" balls on the rings for decorative effect.  Standby for more photos to come........

Reply:Very nice wine rack. Did you get the rings from King Metals also?.No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:DSW--yes the whole shebang came from King, the rings were about a buck a piece, I could not have even dreamed of making those.  The leaves were about the same price.  Those guys at King rock, had the whole order FedEx'd and had it in a couple of days. Very reasonable pricing.

Reply:...take one down, pass it around, 95 bottles of wine on the wall... Nice project, man. I have experienced the challenge of using ball bearings on welding projects, too.  Nothing this big but them little devils can be fun, huh?(Retired) Professional firefighter, amateur everything else I try to do...Oh yeah:  Go Big Red!   (You know: one of the 12 members of the Big 10 cuz we left the 10 members of the Big 12...)
Reply:Nice work! At first I was thinking the bottle neck could have been in smaller loops and level but I like your idea better and also as any wine drinker knows, the cork has to stay wet with wine.

Reply:NIce Job and thanks for the introduction to King Metals, I see so many things that I want.  Pam really?  I need to go grocery shopping now. Thanks!
Reply:You really should REMOVE any pressurized can of ANYTHING from your bench while welding..One wrong move and Other than that nice stuff!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Those look great. I had to laugh about the pam. If that blows up, you would have to post the pics on "There! I fixed it." http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/Regards,RobGreat Basin WeldingInstagramBlue weldersRed weldersMy luscious Table DIY TIG Torch cooler
Reply:Roger on the PAM gents, its off the bench, last thing I need is to be coated in burning oil with one less eye, running down the road screaming.....thanks for pointing it out.  Won't make the same mistake twice with anything pressurized. Thank You I know better. MNT--the MIG holder I believe I got at Horrible Fright, was less than 10 bucks.  This is one of those things I would buy from them.......it has no moving parts.
