How are these welds?

Just got my Miller 211 Mig Welder.. its the bomb!  Autoset works nice!Anyways, I'm not a welder, I used to do it ocassionally about 10 years ago, when I was working as a Tool and Die Maker...  These are some of the welds I did while making a little project..Can you plz look at them and tell me if they are decent and / or what I can do to make them right.  (heat, speed, wire etc)Thanks! Reply:Looks good. I think a smidgen more heat and faster travel would help flatten the welds out. Clean the steel really good and keep your gun angle. Looks real good though. Keep it up. Thanks for reading!

Reply:Those welds will work!! IMO I prefer not to use the autoset on the new welders I dont think they have enough heat into the welds. I think they lay the weld on the metal instead of getting penetration?
