Reply:With a few minutes of Googling I was able to find a 22 gram plastic water bottle cage for four bucks.  On the other hand, if you just take a leak before you ride, you'll probably drop several hundred grams for free.Tim
Reply:The guy who wrote the article is a dick. It's a piece of art. It's beautiful and elegant. Handmade and certainly didn't cost $2 to make. Reply:The guy that builds those cages also is well known for his frames.  I have been wanting to build my own bicycle frames, so I watch this guy's videos on youtube.  I believe this may be the same guy that started the bamboo bicycle deal.
Reply:Hmm i have never had a problem with my little aluminum bottle holder which probably weighs close to that which i got for free. I would hardly consider that a piece of art, but to each their own.  Maybe I'll raise the prices on the super rare handmade car parts i make for people so i can earn a 6500% profit
