Ok Guys...my search continues. As stated before I am looking for a small red or blue 220V MIG for home use. I just need a little more HP that a 120V unitl will provide.I found this:http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/tls/1684256787.htmlThe price is low enough that I could afford a bottle and reg.Is this brand good? Parts available?Quick replies win the prize
Reply:Take your time and be patient. Look for a unit that will put out around 180 amps or more.

Reply:My alarm goes off at things like " probably never used" ...probably? Probably lifted out of some poor schmucks truck just after he bought it or what??? 200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.
Reply:That seller sounds a little fishy to me as well.ESAB makes high quality welders, esp their mig welders. That one is an older model.I realy like the new ESAB mig master welders.Last edited by snoeproe; 04-11-2010 at 08:56 AM.JasonLincoln Idealarc 250 stick/tigThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52Miller Bobcat 250Torchmate CNC tableThermal Arc Hefty 2Ironworkers Local 720
