I'm looking for a welding blanket for stress relief so it'll need to be in close proximity or direct contact with the product. But all the blankets I find online are used for ppe. Can somebody point me in the right direction.

Reply:Kaowool is the ideal for stress relief if you are up around 1000 degrees... it eventually crumbles.http://www.barteltinsulation.com/pdf...MICBLANKET.pdfIt is based on kaolin clay ... kinda itchy and wear a dust mask as it irritates throat.... at least my throat. It is safe unlike asbestos. You can hold an inch thick piece in the palm of your hand and direct a torch onto it and you will not feel any heat.
