Trailer project ?!? Can you fix me?

A fella who works on my crew has been asking me questions about a trailer he inherited from a relative of some sort. I didn't pay close attention to the details...I will give him credit for not trying to tow it. He had it in the bed of a pickup.Originally, it was designed to haul three small motorcycles, and nothing else. The "bike rails" were structural.He wanted to make it into a quad hauler, with a flat deck, so he hacked the rails off with a grinder. At this point, (presumably when it fell apart ) He brought it to me for advice...Before he started hacking, I might have had a cheap deck solution for him...At this point it would be easier to start fresh.I may sell him one of my small trailers that I don't use anymore. Gotta figure out what it is worth to me.One of the x-members laying on the toungue belongs on the back, and 2 rails are missing. The one by six was not original... Attached Images

Reply:What a great coincidence that the used coupler special is coming up! Danny, if you can keep the price of the top one to $2.38 with shipping across the country, I'm sure I can make it work. I can't use the lunette style, as he doesn't have a pintle.
Reply:back in the day  i had to design some pretty well loaded pipe hanger trapezes..one thing i remember is that channel has zero rating when used as shown..it needs to be turned ninety degrees, with the legs horizontal ...the holes in the web are also not good.....
