red seal journyman ticket?

I have been doing a little research on this. Do any of you guts have or know where i can get the practice written test? I wanna see how far off i am of obtaining this stamp. I have my cwb in fcaw all positions. Thanks guys for any info

Reply:You can get the Red Seal books from the CWB website, I believe that is the only place you can get them. There are really good books with lots of good info.Its really not that hard of a test, the one online is was quite close to the one I wrote. They did have some questions about plate prep, rigging, all the welding procceses and so on. If you go on the Red Seal trades web site you will find a breakdown of what the test covers.My local welding school set up the test for me which was free of charge.I believe you need a minimum of 5400 hrs of recorded welding time in your log book to write the test.Last edited by Biggerair; 01-17-2013 at 04:40 PM.Reason: more info

For $50 you could access 5 tests of 120 random questions (how many are on the actual test) selected out of a bank 1707 question (there are some which are similar--reproduced for a different year with slightly different data). This will give you a very good idea of what you'll likely get on the test.If you're interested click "How to get an account".
