Bore Welding

I work at a machine shop, and do a lot of build up of on old hydraulic cylinder eye's, all by hand. I see all these fancy youtube videos of semi-automatic bore welders, anyone used/uses one? Is it any faster than by hand?Most of what we do can be done in a flat or horizontal position, so the larger it is, the bigger we can go with the wire, up to 3/32 FCAW. So it would have to keep up with that to be practical.
Reply:google "york machine" in Campbell river bc. They manufacture a bore welder as well as line boring equipment. I think they have a video on their bore welder.
