Can anyone refer me to shop that can bend arches for my iron gate in or around houston area. I would try the pack full of sand method and heat, but would like to have a near perfect bend. I was thinking 2x2" or 2x3" box tubing. Thanks.
Reply:You can oder them from King Archetectural Metals in Dallas. They come in halves so you need to weld them together. They have 2"x2" square. They can be shipped UPS and I usually get them in 2 days time.

Reply:A friend built this gate up in my shop and we cut out the letters and dogs with the plasma cutter. No bending involved, just sliced the tubing every 8" on three sides and welded it back together. The gate is actually a true curve even though the picture makes it look faceted.
