1450 case frame repair

This case frame was egged about an inch. I didnt line bore this one i made some weld on bosses on the lathe and made the id press fit for hardend ground bushings. the motor and torque got freshend up also. thanks for checking it out Steve Attached Images
Reply:Anything is better than egg shaped about an inch...Looks good from here...Did you just guess at the centerline?...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Did you have to touch up fhe bore with a hone after welding in , or was the wall of the bushing thick enough to prevent distotion?
Reply:The neighbor's shop does this often with implements. It takes some time but works well for them.Looks good Steve, did you use bearing races or make/find the correct hardened size sleeve?Matt
Reply:Lars66 the wall thickness kept everthing ok with out any honing. Matt i always use off the shelf hardend ground bushings fro cat/case or ball bushing warehouse.  sometimes i have to shorten them a little.
