blast from the past

These were given to me by a neighbor....who wants them ?...free  I've never welded using the process and would be interested in hearing from some fellow welders that have.  What kind of results do you get ?-Graham-Mechanical EngineerAutosport Mechanic/Fabricator

Reply:Hey Graham,AFAIK, those oxy pellets were used in a 'special' small oxy-fuel torch set-up.  Without the special torch. I don't know what real use the oxy (generating) pellets would be good for.IIRC, the oxy pellets were for those afraid of or unable to get/use/store an oxygen cylinder.Google reports a lot of mention of those pellets for, umm, 'other' purposes.    The best laid schemes ...
