How do you weld

Im still learning but I started out doing cricles and it does great for me but now ive got into doing V's whats betterL&L custom Jeep Bumpers

Reply:There is no right/wrong better/worse as long as the weld meets the desired specifications.Have we all gone mad?
Reply:On a flat weld like that, I feel it's a good weld if it's properly filled slightly above the plate, with no undercut on the sides.  I'd be pleased with the weld in the pic.You'll refine the whip out of it with time, and be able to have a relatively smooth surface.  I  have a tendancy to massage the puddle on flat welds too.  I like to make sure there's no undercut on the sides."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:looks good to me, but im just learning with a stickmate.  i have been using 6011's but now im using the 7018 and i love the way it beads up and little to no spatter.  keep up the good looking beads/

Reply:I always liked welding on redbull...you don't even need to move...the vibratory twitches that the caffiene and torine would give would account for mint welds!  "I-I-I-C-c-c-c-c-can't s-s-s-s-st-t-top----vibra-t-t-t--ting!"
