Just discovered my gas hose/power cable has a leak. grrrr. I haven't yet tried to mess with it, which would involve using a razor blade to slice the outer nylon and explore the innards. At $90 bucks(part #S25811-1) hopefully somebody has repaired theirs.
Reply:Western Enterprises makes TIG hose end fittings and ferrules. Google is faster than a catalog search.Don't buy the stock power cable. Do determine what ends are on it and buy one less expensive. 90 is high. A complete air cooled torch and cable should be about 80.
Reply:The ends are 3/8' X 24. Though I'm having trouble figuring what I should be looking for. I see lots of hose and cable, but I don't see a hose that carries the gas and power. Or is it assumed that if it's a TIG cable then the it's a one piece gas AND power cable? Is this something that would work? (provided I can find out if it has 3/8 x24 fittings)http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/we...ml?id=JLVFPDwQ
