Convince me to buy a Longevity Stick weld 250

I'm old school Miller/Hobart and lincoln. I need a light weight, high duty cycle stick welder over 200 amps. The price is right but I want to know how long will they will hold up? How good is the customer support? can I get them repaired at my local welding supply? And how long will they carry parts for their products? Anything else is appreciated.Thanks,

Reply:I nearly bought one last month, and I already have a 300 amp Miller and a200 amp Tig/Stick.  I like what I see, and Longevity stands behind their products.

Reply:They are no better than a harbor freight machine. I would say do a search but all the info you need to make a sound decision has been deleted.

Reply:I don't do drugs. If I did, I couldn't take enough of them to convince you. Buy a real machine and be done. Look at HOG, he had three and has to buy another .   I don't know of any professional shop that has them, unless they need a door stop. If money is a issue and you can't wait to buy a name brand machine ,well good luck. It may be perfect for you.
