Reply:an used Miller Syncrowave 180SD. Water cooled if you can swing it, but not necessary. i got mine (non-digital) one for $1400 water cooled.it will do AC and DC. should be able to any SS/alu manifold on cars.best tip: post your location, and find experienced welders in your locations. A case of beer goes a long ways in instruction.
Reply:A Syncrowave 200 or TA 185 if you are looking for new. Used you can find Syncro 180's or 200's used from $1100-1500 depending on condition and accesories. You can find older transformer machines like Miller 330A/BP's for as low as $500-800 often with coolers. Lincoln makes some nice tigs also. Theres been some nice AC/DC Lincolns listed for sale at a good price here lately..http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=41565http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43561Last edited by DSW; 08-17-2010 at 06:14 PM..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
