Last week I bought a 251cf O2 tank thanks to a lead on this forum from AMC724.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=44148The guy selling the tank threw in a Uniweld OA outfit with the tank and I thought great, I just need to get an acetylene tank and I'm ready to weld. Well, after thinking about the safety risk of using the old Uniweld set up and the cost of having the regulators and torch refurbished, new hoses, and having to buy a cutting head I decided to just go get a reliable set up. I decided on the Smith MTA-30510 American Classic Medium Duty outfit. I ordered it online from Weldfabulous.http://www.weldfabulous.com/Smith-MT...-p8298330.htmlIt was the most expensive of the outfits I was considering, but the fact that it's American Made and the lifetime warranty on the torch made up my mind for me.I'll need to wait for another payday to come to fill my O2 tank and buy the acetylene tank, but then I'll be able to get started with out worrying about equipment issues. I'll know that the bad welds are my doing and not the equipments fault.I took gas welding classes at the local adult school a few years back and did lots of cutting working in a wrecking yard as a kid, but I know that once I start I'll have lots of questions for the experts here. I hope you all won't mind the questions. Thanks,Mark
