weld pak 155

this guy has a lincoln weld pak 155 mig on CL for sale. he says it will also tig and stick if you buy an adapter.  if this possible????

Reply:im not interested but i sent the guy an email just to let him know he was misleading in his ad... he replied to tell me he was a welder and i was wrong... i think i might email him to inform him of the correct spelling of weldor... (welder is a machine.  weldor is an individual that uses a welder to perform weldments...)a couple pieces of pipe, a grinder, and oh yeah...A Miller Dynasty 300, Haas VF-3 mill with some other bitchin tools!

Reply:I have one of these, weldpac 155's. Bought it new years ago with the MIG conversion. It's a fine mig welder for it's class and vintage but no way will it TIG or stick.Tough as nails and damn near as smart

Reply:Back in the day that I got my 155 weldpac I got it and the mig conversion on sell at lowes for about $600.Tough as nails and damn near as smart
Reply:not bad, trying to get $1300 for an $600 to $700 Machine. I see the problem. It's a Lincold welder not a Lincoln. This welder is no longer made and has been replace with a new design.
