What is the awg size for the ground cable on a Millermatic 252 mig welder?Thanks,Jack
Reply:there are charts showing the size cable to use based on amps and distance. for a 252 amp machine you should use #1 cable for short runs and heavier cable over i think 150 or 200 feet..but look at the chart..too light and the duty cycle goes to hell..ground cable isnt really a ground, either it or the cable to the stinger should be sized the same, they are part of the same circuit... |
