Reply:solar panel mounted on top of headach rack charges a bank  of batterys then you have 2 options you can use 10 12v d.c. batterys stright to the oven it will work even though it is a 110v ac oven this way is better for higher temp. rods low hyd. rod for night time storage you use the machines power during the day or for rod with cellulose-lower storage temps 8010ect. i run a inverter with 12v dc to 110v ac. this will allow ovens to keep temp for several days with out a break to charge depending on how often you open or weather as long as a weekdragster 85 tig rigdragster 80 tig rigmillermatic 211deltaweld 452 60 series feederand much more

Reply:That's some pretty serious off-road buggy hauling a bunch of welding equipment.  Me thinks the fuel consumption is in the gallons per mile range though.    The best laid schemes ... Gang oft agley ...
