He keeps throwing in terminology that he doesn't understand, then admits his welds look like Sh!t, but keeps reassuring us (Himself) that they are "Strong" and that it will work. Reply:You obviously didn't splurge on the welding machine so take some dough and go get a pair of pants and some work boots, I mean really, bare feet with and AC Buzz Box, next time hose down the grass first so you can eliminate fire danger then walk out barefoot and weld. you get a few burns, you'll learn. Reply:Thats awesome!  You just know some day if that skid even runs and has hydro fluid in it will be holding something over someones head.Those guys are the ones that make stuff like that skid a good (cheap) buy for someone who knows how to fix it though.

Reply:It wouldn't be so bad, if instead of trying to defend how good he does, if he would just admit he doesn't know what he's doing, and try to LEARN the right way.  You don't need a 10,000 dollar or even a 3,000 dollar welder to produce nice looking, sound welds.  You can buy a pretty nice American made electric welder in the 500 dollar range new, and I've seen some barely used ac/dc electric machines sell for 200 or so.  Then you need to learn what electrode is what.  If you don't know who Lincoln Electric is, it's a pretty good clue you don't have any basic knowledge of welding (if you are in the United States).  I mean, practically anybody could get a decent machine, good electrodes, find out the proper amperage range for the chosen electrode, and produce something that looks better than what he's showing here and claiming to have experience with...  He could learn to do much better, but I'm thinking he's going to have to un-learn a lot of habits to do it.  I've never seen anything like that.  Seriously...
