old purox torch

i just boughta purox cw 202,25ft of 3/8 hose and regulators for 100 bucks.the man that had them was a retired mechanic from our town garage and hes in his 80s. he said to never sell them or get rid of them[of course not!!].it works flawlessly. i just dont have any literature on it and was wondering if anyone had any history on it. its obviously an older torch and i waswondering if itsworth any real amount ofmoney, also what todays equivelent would be.any info would be greatlincoln weld pak 100 hdlincoln ranger 225gxt ac/dcoxy/acetylenepuroxcw202 victor fc100harris model 85harrismodel 16oxweld w24roxweld w17
Reply:The CW202 -W202 handle are very similar to the CW300/W300 that ESAB (Purox is a brand name in the ESAB family)  makes today.If the regulators work you have something worth about $100.00.  So you did OK.OAdoctorwww.regulatortorchrepair.com

Reply:nice,i knew of the name so i knew it was a good buy. i also have a harris#85 that i use for all of my gas welding[tips5,7,9],a victorfc100 with the 1350 cutting attachment and #2 tip and an older harris that was given to me by a guy who had a logging outfit here in tupper lake.i cant find any numers on it but its big. the torch handle is bigger around than my cw202 and with the cutter its about 20 inches long.for that i have a #1,and a#3 tip[6290series]. with the number 3 tip it cuts 138lb rail with ease. i also have regulators and 1/4 in hose to go with each one[3/8w purox]the harris 85 was bought new in april.lincoln weld pak 100 hdlincoln ranger 225gxt ac/dcoxy/acetylenepuroxcw202 victor fc100harris model 85harrismodel 16oxweld w24roxweld w17
