SA 200 Remote

Does anyone know what kinda cable i should use for a remote. It ain't just a regular extension cord is it?

Reply:When i first fire it up it turn on just fine, but after an hour or so if i shut it off it cranks over and over (puffs of black smoke) then fires up. What is going on with it and what should be the proper fix?
