Our shop just came into a dozen packets+ of 3/32 ESAB 67.55 rods http://tinyurl.com/2dtfcw4 , we got them from unused inventory from a trade school. According to what I've read they're for duplex s/s. We've never had any occasion to use nor do I forsee any future use of duplex s/s.According to the specs it can also be used for welding duplex to carbon steel. My question is this, what would it work like welding typical s/s we run into at work i.e. 304, 316, 308 etc. or even welding those types to carbon steel.....Mike |
