Reply:I have been told only with a push/pull gun. I saw somewhere though that you could do it with the 5000 series wire as it is stronger. But I do not know that for fact. You must use U drive rollers though.Luke

Reply:It will work.I did the same thing and welded a transmission bellhousing out of a honda and it worked great.Make sure you have no bends in your liner or it will get kinked.Also they sell a couple differnt types of aluminum wire.You will need the stiffer one.Not sure off hand the number tho.
