Questions about Miller Big 40 cc/dc machine(need help!)

Hello guys, I have just bought a miller cc/dc machine that is in really great shape in an auction, I need some help figuring out what it is worth and what type of applications it is supposed to be used for1. Cat diesel engine2. excellent shape/kept indoors3. 3400 hrs4.I looked on the miller website and this particular welder new depending on what model could range anywhere from the 15000 dollar range to the 30000 dollar range , evidentally they didnt know what they had, I own a lincoln GXT and in the past have had an SA-200 gas and an SA-250 perkins diesel and know what they are worth, however this particular machine is new to me, and it welds and runs great, there does seem to be a leak around the seals on the injectors is about the only problem, it seems like it has set for quite some time. but again the finish on it is origional, and the condition is excellent, i dont know the year of the machine, but i can say it has the dial control on the right and the larger handle on the left, with spots for differeng gauges and things that have not been cut out. I also understand it is 3 phase!  someone please help if you know anything.Thank you very much
Reply:3400 hrs is a ton, even if it is a diesel....Structual, pipe, since its a diesel, it will have low Rs', and likely stack saaweet dimes..I personally would never have the dial over 185amps.... Reply:3400 hrs. mite be high for the welding circuit but not extreme for a diesel engine.
