in my class we have a Miller Dialarc HF-P and it never seams to work perfect consistently. but recently we have had problems with it just randomly stoping the arc. it will arc for about 20 - 45 secs then it will stop for 10-30 secs. so my first theory was the pedal is full of dirt and isnt conducting good but wether you pump the pedal or not it will just stop. so who knows im just the student. we run a cool mate 3 so im asuming heat didnt affect it but who knows with the clowns in my class weather they turn in on. any sugestions are apreciated thanks.
Reply:and another addition. i had some one from electrical look over the pedal and they came up with nothing.
Reply:Have you got another machine in class that works properly that you can switch pedals with or test the questionable pedal on?.No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:we have 2 tigs but they use 2 diffrent pedals however we have 2 pedals. for the messed up one and we switch them back and forth and they will work good for about a day or less then do the same thing all over im thinking its the machine. its old and abused |
