Anybody use them? I was looking at them, and ran across this one.http://www.stronghandtools.com/stron.../powerbase.php Looks like it has one of smallest footprints of the others I've seen. Rated to 300a, but I won't be anywhere near that.
Reply:We got some TWECO'S. Work well. The 300 amp has greater holding power. The 200 doesn't hold as well.http://www.amazon.com/Magswitch-Grou...d_sim_sbs_hi_2http://www.amazon.com/Magswitch-Grou...d_sim_sbs_hi_1Last edited by BD1; 07-01-2013 at 10:51 PM.

Reply:The Tweco 300 amp, strong hold 120 pounds. $37.00 at amazon.
Reply:I've got the magswitch 200 amp one. I like it. It's much more convenient than a clamp. Only trouble I have is when welding stainless. No biggie, just put a vise grip on the stainless and stick the ground to that.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=83551My name's not Jim....
Reply:I have three of the magswitchs they make things a lot easier. The right angle one gets a lot of use.
Reply:Yeah if they can make one that will stick to aluminum and stainless I'd probably buy it.Lincoln precision TIG 275Millermatic 140 MIG |
