where can i get them? im new to welding and the forumn im located in louisiana also
Reply:Scrap yard if you really just want practice material.Otherwise just buy a length of 2" x 3/16" (or 1/4") and cut your own.Making a padding plate is the cheapest way to get good stick time. After that, grab a chunk of angle iron and fill it flush. More really cheap practice.Welding a bunch of butt joints when you are new just wastes material.
