Well I did it. I started a build and finished before I even thought about taking pictures. After I finished the Lincoln AC-225-S refresh and paint I thought that I would like to have both I Wire Feed and the Arc Welder together on the same cart. I started the build after Work on Friday and finished it up today.   The area in the back will be for Acc/ Oxygen bottles, but I will need to get the material that the bottles will be setting on. I will try to get that this week. I will send more pictures once that is done. Attached Images

Reply:That is a nice cart. Reply:I like it!!  I think it could use some diamond tread on the bottom, and something to fill that space in the back with.[Account Abandoned 8/8/16 Please Do Not Attempt Contact Or Expect A Reply]. See you on YouTube! -ChuckE2009
Reply:Thanks for the coments. I thought that diamond plate would look good there or some of the mesh that you see on some lawn trailers. I will find something and get it finnished. Thanks again

Reply:You dont need to steal ideas you can freely have them.  I have cut a piece of 1/2 plywood for the base of my Oxy-Acetylene torches, I will be putting steel in the bottom to hold the bottles. I also need to purchace an Oxygen bottle before I can connect the torches up, at this point having the acetylene bottle on the cart and straped in is better than setting on the floor in the garage. Anyway here are some more pictures to look at. Attached Images

Reply:That's the exact same electrode holder that came with my AC225S, but the first time that I saw another with it.  Do you think that is the original one that came with it?
Reply:By the way, nice cart too!
Reply:From some of the doco that I have seen on this welder I believe that it is the original stinger. As for the something to hold the bottle in, the arrow points to a ratchet strap that is fit around the cart and bottle. Trust me this, the bottle is not going anywhere the cart doesn’t go, but thanks for your concern of my health. Attached Images
Reply:no, I saw the strap, and was not worried about the bottle falling over. Just the finished look of the rack. right now, with the gas lines how they are, it looks like you gave up and just through everything on it. turning something that looked great, into something that looks halfassed.but seeing as how you obviously plan on putting a O/A set up on there as well, I was just suggesting that you finish it out. this not only makes something more appealing to the eye, but also makes it easier to use. No hoses draped over everything, and everything in it's place.Last edited by ThorsHammer; 09-27-2011 at 12:40 PM.There are no problems. There are only solutions. Reply:I understand now and your right, I just draped the lines on the bottle and I do plan on finishing it up the correct way. I don’t know when I will have the money or time but I will get it finished soon. I am also planning on attaching a fire extinguisher to the cart as well (hoping not even having to use it, but you never know). I am planning on getting it all finished up in the next two to three weeks.

Reply:thks guys they look great,  i pulled the cars out of the shop tonight and pulled out the welders to the middle of the floor and the welding table also and took some time to start looking at everything and try and come up with a plan.  a three deck cart with storage on top for my helmets would be perfect.  i also fired up the stick welder to make sure it still worked and it was fun to use.  i can see using it more now since the HH190 requires 240 any way.   thks bobbobs77vet/37ford4drEastwood digital TIG200HH190Lincoln Invertec 155sLincoln weldpak 100sears/craftsman (lincoln) 50a 240v buzz boxO/A rig Harris gaugesnexion cut 50 dxchicago electric (HF) 240v spot welder

Reply:Hey Firefighter, you might think I'm nuts for suggesting this, so here goes. The ratchet strap is made of burnable, melt-able fibre, I would suggest swapping that out for a chain or metal strap bent to fit your bottle(s). There would be no chance of a freak event that cuts or melts that strap letting your bottle(s) fall over and breaking off those valves. May not be likely, but is certainly possible. I have seen quite a few unlikely events as a safety nerd, otherwise, a nice build with good ideas. Please post fotos of the finish with the non-wood grating/mesh floors, too. I mounted a fire extinguisher (A,B,C) on my cart, too, have yet to use it, but in my experience, if it's not there, you'll need it (Murphy).
