I made this for my wife for x-mas. This is the first one I've done and am pretty happy with it. The bluing on the stem, base and leaves was done with heat. Then I ground the leaves basically leaving the blue only in the veins of the leaf. And the gold in the thorns is brazed brass.

Reply:Thanks guys. I used 22 gauge steel for the flower. The leaves were somewhere in the neighborhood of 16g, and 1/4" solid for the rest.I do off road fabrication during the day. Playing with yard art, gates, and other off the wall stuff is more fun to me.I've got some yard art planned and I hope to kick the size and detail up about 10 notches.
