I welded some pieces of angle on the "jaws" of my vise grip. I dont know if there is already a product like this but i wish i had some of these in the past. Just an extra hand to help get it tacked up perfectly.www.performancealuminumfabrication.com
Reply:That's a good idea.Excellent for clamping round bar, and keeping the tip from falling off.My kant-twist clamps have a vee groove ground in the jaws for just this purpose.

Something like that could have saved my sanity a couple of times, but that ship sailed a loooong time ago. Reply:Just a thought, if you welded those angles 90 degrees to what you have, you could clamp anywhere along that curve in the middle. Now your going to need several pair. Great Idea.
Reply:So the next set should be with the handle turned 90 degrees, so the handle wont get in the way, if you have to use it deeper into the project (if this makes sense).
