Brand new to welding. Bought a miller 211 and a hypertherm 45.  I'm having a ball!  This was my 1st project. Attached Images

Reply:Welcome to the forum.  That's a sturdy looking table you have- good first project.  You have some nice equipment too, for a newbie to welding. What was it that sparked (excuse the pun) you to go out and buy the gear and start welding?Lincoln AC225 & MigPak 140, Lincoln Magnum SpoolGun, Miller Spectrum 375-X Plasma, Syncrowave 200 TIG, Millermatic 252 MIG, Miller Digital Elite, General 7x12" horiz/vert bandsaw, 3' box/pan brake, 20 ton press, milling machine, 12x28 lathe, etc.

Reply:I have always enjoyed woodworking and I have a friend who is a professional welder.  Looked like a fun way to get creative!  Here's my material storage rack almost done.  Just need the safety chains. Attached Images

Reply:jjmiller, those type of material racks are great! They give you an excellent view of your material and easy access to it. Plus you can roll them out of the way. Nice job! "Every choice you make will effect at least one other person"
