I put this together this fall:  9' blade I got out of the junk and put new sheetmetal in the lower 12", sandblasted and fixed the cracks. It came out nice.  I could handle a bigger blade but it's what fits around here.  I made all the mounting brackets here and tried to keep things easy to take off and not gross overkill.  If I had a bigger blade or was trying to move dirt I would have put the push tubes back to the rear end.  I haven't got to use it a lot yet but so far it works great around the farm and business.  All the welding is with an old MM200 and .035" wire and Stargon.

Reply:wow, really nice!!! now I gotta build myself one...another project on the list...Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
Reply:That's a professional lookin' job!!!  I wouldn't set the trip springs too tight. That 4wd tractor will probably push a lot harder than a 4 WD pickup.                                                           MikeOl' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw

Reply:Thanks for the nice comments guys.  These pics were from back in November I think, I  have since only seen about 3-4 inches of snow, enough we had to clean up but not enough to give the thing a workout.  We  have been having a really off winter compared to normal, not all that cold and hardly any snow. It worked just like anticipated though.Zap, if you think this is handy, at some of my friends farm they have a Case IH MX305 (300hp) with super single tires and a 12' Dengelman blade, they use it to pack their trench silos but that thing is bad a$$ in snow, I ran it for a little the other year and it will move a 6' pile of snow as wide as the blade pretty easy. My Ford in the picture is only about 100hp
