Can I cut the stuff with a vertical bandsaw? I'm sick of using a chop saw or a grinder.If so, any specific blades to use with steel tube?Big F**king HammerJumper cables & 2 marine batteriesJaws of life
Reply:Get a cheap portaband and make a table for it. If you're doing tons of it buy a Big Four brand and make a table.It's all about the blades. Attached Images
Reply:You can with a vertical bandsaw made for cutting metal, with a metal blade. Metal saws run slower than wood saws. Find yourself a horizontal bandsaw on CL for about $125 and use that.
Reply:I use one like is pictured in post #2. Only I use mine hand held as it was designed for, haven't made the little table thing like in the pic. Just make sure to get the metal cutting blades for it when you get it. The one that comes with it is for wood.
