Been lurking on here since 2007 and figured I'd post something! Nothing special, just some simple mounts to hold my 15lb surround speakers. Wasn't happy with any of the commercial mounts, and at $80 a piece for the ones I wanted, it wasn't going to happen. These were tossed together from scrap 1/8" wall 1" square tube and 1/8" plate. Mounted with 5/16" lag bolts into the studs. Don't think they're going anywhere! They kick the speakers out 45 degrees and 15 degrees down. The wires come out of the wall and run through the mounting plate. Some nasty learner welds that were ground down -shelby
