Going to school for welding/fabrication

Will I be able to find a job easily after I graduate from the class? Are welding schools good with placement? What kind of jobs do graduates usually start with.

Reply:It seems that a common piece of advice on the forum is to look for a position as a welder's helper after graduating if you are having difficulty getting a welding position.
