Surely someone has made something similar, but I'd never made or seen one like this, so I thought I'd share in case anyone wanted to copy the idea.  Basically, an older customer we have wanted a better way to jockie his trailers into position in his barn.  There's not quite enough room to back them in with a truck how he likes to put them, so he wanted a way to move them with his skidsteer.  I know a lot of people just blow a hole throught their pallet forks, but he didnt like that idea.  Also, as always, money was a concern, so he didnt want an overkill in materials.  i had scrap to use for all but the bottom attachment bracket where the loader pin locks in... Reply:I like it. I too, never liked the idea of blowing a hole in a fork although it is common practice. You are prepared for some serious tongue weigh. Looks good.
Reply:Good decent design.Mine is quite a bit longer( around 11"), allowing for jacknifing the trailer to some degree without hitting the tractor as readily.  But it does add leverage, so it could be unsuitable for your application."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:That's pretty slick.
