Reply:Use Google images. Just type in XXX Silhouette where XXX is what you want to make. Print to size on heavy paper, cut out with exacto knife or razor, trace with sharpie to metal and cut out with plasma. Here are a couple of examples of what you can do. Both were Google images to start out.Good luck!

Reply:You're limited only by your imagination for patterns. Scroll saw pattern books and pictures are a good source too. Made a lamp from a picture of my dad on his horse and gave it to him for Christmas one year. My wife would scan the pattern or photo, print it out on a foil and use an overhead projector to enlarge it on poster board. Cut it out with a razor blade or xacto and instead of tracing it with a sharpie, I would find the cheapest grey primer or flat white paint I could and dust the edges of the pattern onto the steel. The contrast was easier for me to see and I found it worked better on rusty metal than the sharpie. Most if not all of my pictures were lost to a dead computer but I will try to get some of the stuff I made for my dad
Reply:As for Patterns, there are literally 'thousands' that can be found through Google, Bing, Yahoo searches and many are 'Royalty Free Images' as well.. (even though Copyright issue is moot when an Outline is in question...)Cheers,Last edited by jman; 03-04-2012 at 03:06 AM.Miller Diversion 165120 amp Buzz BoxVictor Oxy/Ace Oxy/LPGSmith "Little" Oxy/LPGHypertherm Powermax 30Lot's of Misc. tools n' crap....
