Reply:It won't be hard on the welder, just you.Strip the old stuff out if possible. Not to mention the old stuff will ad weight & reduce your overall GVW.Buy American, or don't whine when you end up on the bread line.
Reply:Thanks WeldingMachine - this is for new trailer - Was just wondering about being on and offtriger that much in short period of timeThe main thing is not to panic or get excited Bobcat 250, X-Treme 12VS, MM211Meltabo, Milwaukee,Porter Cable,Dewalt,MakitaVictor O/A, Ingersoll-RandEvolution Rage2, 40 amp PlasmaLincoln 225 AC/DC
Reply:I've done lots of it like that. It depends on what type welder you have, new electronic ones would not hurt at all. For the older mechanicals with contactors each trigger pull is wear on the contactors, but it won't be enough to make a difference unless you are doing it every day. Done a lot of them in both steel, and aluminum with the spoolgun, with my Miller Vintage welder.
Reply:It won't be hard on the 211. And like stated, it may affect us old guys !
Reply:every other diamond is excessive. Every 3-4 should be fine. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger |
