Reply:Bravo!  Very good video.  You said something that jerked me around, a thought that I have always maintained:  Your tools should not hold you back (or be the limiting factor of your abilities).  I know good tools are very expensive and we can't all afford them.  I've often wondered how many true industrial artists in the making never matured at their best abilities because of sub-par equipment.  BTW, I have a Dynasty 200DX also............love it.Again, you demonstrated cleverness and finesse use of cheap materials to create a very useful item.  Stay with it.cwood3

I appreciate the kind words.cwood, either you heard me wrong, or I am misinterpreting your post now.Tools will hold you back for sure, that's why I always try to buy as large as I can. Most would say I don't need either welder as big as I have for hobbyist use, and they would be right.In the past, I have noticed that tools will hold you back. You can get to a certain point where the tool will not allow you to progress anymore. Because of that, I don't skimp on tools. The only thing that should limit me is my abilities, not the tool being used.I've been lurking here for a short while. I agree there is a ton of good info here, so I decided to try to contribute with some simple videos from a hobbyist's perspective. I had some projects and info posted on some other online sites, but pulled everything down to post here where it's more relevant.I have a lot to learn, so I'm all ears.
