Which Tig Torch Set?

I am looking at a Weldcraft Tig Torch set.  I was told here to get a WP-17V but the people I am probably going to buy from says I need the WP-26V instead. I gave them the info on my machine, an Airco Bumblebee 250a AC/DC stick and that was their recommendation.
Reply:What do you plan on using it for? The 26 is a higher amperage torch, but it is also a ton heavier. I use a 17 for scratch start work, and if I need more amps I use a water cooled torch. Not that there's anything wrong with the 26, it just depends on your needs.
Reply:Will be using scratch start DCEN welding mild steel up to 1/4" and stainless steel no thicker than 3/16".

Reply:Thanks Welds4d.   Sure are a lot of options to weigh....  someone suggested to me the flex head , button cap ... with finger button for gas control... any preferences on those last two  items ?Weldandpower Lincoln 225 AC,DC with Briggs 16hp gas engine.WW2 era Miller TIG.
Reply:If you're doing scratch start, a gas valve is a must. The torches without a valve are suited for a machine with a solenoid valve built in, generally using a torch switch or foot pedal. I use a button style back cap for scratch start work because the long cap gets in the way. I use a long back cap on my wp18 water cooled torch for aluminum work most of the time because it will hold whole 7" tungsten, and when I crap up a tungsten doing aluminum I lose about 1/2" of length to get it clean again.
