1502 oilfield iron weld specs

Hello again fellow welders, just wondering if anyone might know the weld specs on high pressure oilfield iron. I have always known it as 1502 hammer union iron. Some call it XX iron, there are different numbers for different pressures.  1502 is all we ever mess with on the nitrogen pumpers we build.  A man that owns a company that uses this iron a lot asked me what the weld procedure was and I didn't know and that really bothered me.  I knew this would be the place to find the answer and if i ever get asked that question again hopefully I will know the answer.
