Running a Hobart Handler120 off a gas power Lincoln

The  Hobart owners manual says it requires 24 amps or 20 CSA rated. Reply:"The Hobart owners manual says it requires 24 amps " What is the rated output of the welder at 24 amps?If you are running a small diameter wire, then the welder is going to draw less amps.
