Hi,I've just been doing some research on the internet about welding tables and I've found there are 3 different types of clamping systems these tables are designed for. This item above has 2 clamp systems, the one which attaches to the holes and the ones to the large slots. This item about uses a T slot clamp system.I have some questions about these 3 clamping systems:1) What are the universal names for the clamps used for these 3 systems? (What are they called)2) For the first image, how large are the holes and the slots? Are these sizes universal?3) Which system is more universally common?
Reply:The first one looks like a stronghand table and I believe they have their own clamps which if I remember use a 5/8" hole.MnR JohnsonMiller 180SDLincoln weld pak 180Hobart 250ciMill Lathe
Reply:I am currently using Miller's little arcstation with the slots and their x-clamps. It suits my purposes so far. You can buy the clamps on ebay for pretty cheap compared to other sources.http://www.millerwelds.com/products/...ns/arcstation/
Reply:Thanks for the help guys. |
