What's the thickest steel you can sadly weld with a miller 150 stick welderSIN CITY METAL WORKSvisit my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/devvon
Reply:In a single pass or multi pass? Depending on the length of weld, I would say that you could weld 1" plate in multi passes.
Reply:Are you wanting to run it on 110v or 220v power? On 220v power you should be able to do fairly heavy steel running 1/8" rods, multi pass with proper prep. On 110v power you will have less power available, so you will have to cut back on the max thickness you can weld, since you will be limited to 3/32" rods for the most part..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:^ agreed...110 is quite limited, whereas 220 is like NOS for those things...Lincoln Power MIG 210 MP ( boat anchor )Lincoln Weld-Pac 100 HDHobart IronMan 230Cutmaster 42Jackson NexGenSumner Ultra ClampsDWM120
