18/0 stainless steel

I borrowed the idea of making some faucet flowers from the project forum. I picked up a couple packs of cheap spoons from wally world to use as the pedals. I don't wanna burn up alot of time trying to tig weld them to the stem so will tacking them in place with the mig running 75/25 be ok? The stem is some 1/4" solid rod I picked up from lowes. Reply:You can fusion weld stainless, tacking with the TIG is the way to go, no filler necessary.

Reply:I did some SILVERWARE figures and wine bottle holders if you want to make them too. I bought my silverware at GOODWILL for 10 cents each. I tigged the silverware but may try using the mig with some .023 wire.
