It's Done!! The smoker we have been building in our metal shop classes at the high school is painted, assembled and ready to burn in!! A little assembly drama at the end but I think everything worked out OK. The kids did a great job on it and should be proud of themselves. Hope you enjoy. Attached Images

Reply:The Gasket is from Mcmaster CarrHere is the linkhttp://www.mcmaster.com/For some reason the link is not working, just search tadpole gasket and it will take you right to it.It has a 5/8 Bulb and 1.1/2" Width $2.45 per footI got a 25' roll and used up most of it. I used a leather punch to start holes in it for the bolts to go through. Make sure you leave a gap for the gasketbetween the door and the cabinet, we did not and hav had a heck of a time getting it all to close tight. It is actually to tight and we are warping the door to pull it in flush. Hindsight is 20/20, and we learned from our mistakes!
