Couldn't stand how these jack stands were sitting into the car jack points so I needed something w/ more of a flat surface than a lipped surface for this particular vehicle. Reply:Perhaps cut some tire tread (found on side of highways) for anti scratch of paint on the car. Perhaps glue it on? So YES you can own too many tools.
